The Craftsmen
Our expert guides are the craftsmen behind each and every unique itinerary. Having travelled the world extensively, their knowledge and passion is the secret ingredient that makes traveling with Safari Craftsmen a once in a life-time experience.
Chris Renshaw
After being in the Safari and Conservation industry for 17 years, Chris felt that there was something missing… the opportunity to make a difference! This was where the Conserv concept was born and the next adventure began. “For a while now, I have felt that I have not been doing enough for the future of conservation and responsible tourism. I feel there is a great need for the young leaders of tomorrow, from all walks of life, to be shown that you can indeed make a difference. With the right guidance and exposure to Africa, guests of all ages who are seeking a purposeful impact can assist in keeping wild places wild, uplift communities and support the right players in African tourism. Along with some key partners in the conservation and tourism sector, I believe this is possible”. Chris is an award winning and published wildlife photographer. He has appeared in a number of documentaries on the Discovery and Nat Geo wild channels and holds a MSc degree in Zoology.
