We often get asked what is the Ultimate East African Luxury safari? There are many aspects to this, but for me combining Rwanda with the Serengeti ecosystem has to be right up there! On our latest crafted privately guided and chartered luxury safari, Chris Renshaw hosted a group of truly wonderful guests on a dream safari. 

The journey started at Wilderness Safaris’ Bisate Lodge in Rwanda. For the team, this was a life long goal –  to see and experience the mountain gorillas! This did not disappoint, and after the two mind blowing gorilla treks, all expectations were exceeded! What we didn’t count on was how the Rwandan people, culture and overall way of life would enchant us… So much so, we all promised to return. It is just one of those places that has be experienced to be believed.

For the safari adventure, Singita Faru Faru in the private Grumeti concession was the place to be. This is one of the most epic areas to really get the best of the Serengeti ecosystem. A private concession with acres of space and wildlife, the vast rolling hills are home to all manner of species. We managed to encounter most of the main species, with a few very special experiences. 

It is so tough to describe the myriad of emotions that were felt, but “joy” has to be the winner here.  Have a look at the photographs and see for yourself…
